Dr. Lavalle grew up the small town of Royston, Georgia and attended the University Of Georgia where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She was drawn to the field of optometry after her father was diagnosed with a malignant tumor inside his eye. Being heavily influenced by the care of her family optometrist, Dr. Lavalle pursued a career in optometry where she could provide patients with the same dedicated personalized care that had been demonstrated to her family. Dr. Lavalle attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry. During that time, Dr. Lavalle was picked among her peers to receive the Khan Bernard Scholarship Award for displaying excellence in primary care optometry. Dr. Lavalle moved to Colorado after graduating from Memphis, TN. She is pleased to provide primary care, dry eye, ocular disease, specialty contacts, and pediatrics. In her free time, Dr. Lavalle loves to paint, and is very passionate about cooking and nutrition. She also enjoys keeping an active lifestyle in Colorado though hiking, cycling and camping.
