Dr. Neka Hafezzadeh

Dr. Neka grew up near Boulder, Colorado. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2009. Dr. Neka’s first optometric externship was in Guanajuato, Mexico, where she provided care to those most in need.  Additionally, she completed externships at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and at the Hudson Valley VA Health Care Center in Montrose, New York, during which time she gained extensive experience diagnosing and managing such ocular diseases as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.  Dr. Neka enjoys practicing full scope optometry, and welcomes patients of all ages. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and VOSH (Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity). In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, jogging, and yoga.
